The Old Mill

I'm sure everyone knows the Margaret Mitchell story Gone With the Wind. It is def one of my fav books & I love the movie. Ha I've even done our bedroom in Gone With the Wind. Anyway in the opening credits of the movie there are several flashes of scenes from the old south. In these scenes one shows the Old Mill. The mill was made to be a replica of an actual old mill and was created in 1933. The Mill was created to look old and abandoned and I think it's rather beautiful. Lots of people have wedding ceremonies there.

I was happy to learn it was very close to my hometown, and we went to visit it one weekend.
